Township of Langley Post & Beam

Located just off the busy Fraser Highway in the Township of Langley BC, this landmark structure makes a strong presence in the Derek Doubleday Arboretum Park.  Designed as a multi-functional, multi-use public building, the local Rotary club led the charge in design ideas and construction facilitating.  Working closely with the Township, Artisan was given the task of building the log structure, floor system and roof system.  Seeing this project start from a simple sketch and come to fruition a couple of years later has been an exciting process.  All the large diameter Cedar trees were handpicked and harvested locally in the Fraser Valley, cut and assembled by our amazing team.
