Artisan Show Home

The Artisan Log Show Home was designed and built by Rob and Kathy Littler, the founders of Artisan from 1990 – 91. During an era of small dark log cabins, this house was a breakthrough in both design and construction methods. Rob Littler included many different log elements in our beautiful log show home including large open vaulted ceilings, 10’ full scribed log walls and a very unique 2 level octagon tower.

Project Description

After 15 years of being our family home, all the kids grew up, moved out and the show home has become a very successful vacation rental property. Being located in a beautiful coastal rainforest 65 km East of Vancouver, many people come out to enjoy the peace and quiet, nature and the pure warmth that log houses offer.

Clients also enjoy our show home. Often they come out before, during and even after Artisan has built their dream log home. It’s a great reflection of the quality and commitment we put into each and every one of our log homes.
