It’s hard to believe that 2015 has come and gone and we are already well into the 2016 calendar year. This past year we had the pleasure of traveling around Western Canada and the US working with clients to help build their dream homes into a reality. We traveled to some beautiful countryside and completed some stunning projects.
We thought we’d share a quick roundup of some of our highlighted projects from 2016.
Sumas Mountain Timber Frame
This 5,100 square foot Timber Frame home was built using kiln dried Douglas Fir Timbers. This 2-story home has 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. There is a walkout basement and an 800 square foot partially covered deck to allow for comfortable outdoor living. This project is one of our feature projects with more pictures available in the gallery.
Heath Timber Frame Hybrid
This beautiful Timber Frame Hybrid is only a surprising 950 square feet. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms we added addition living space with large outdoor covered decks and 2 living roofs. This is one of the most sustainable homes we have built to date.
Lac Des Isles Saskatchewan Post and Beam
This 2,000 square foot, plus basement, Post and Beam has a number of timber features and characteristics. In addition the 4 bedrooms, bathrooms and flex room we included a 30-inch feature tree in the center of the home. Looking over the great room there is a curved loft and the entire home was built with large diameter red cedar.
Golden Acres Post and Beam
This Post and Beam project was for a Bed and Breakfast in Golden B.C. 5,000 square feet in size, it has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, perfect for the bed and breakfast to host a number of guests. This project also features our newest truss creation called “The Rocky Mountain” truss.
Napier Lake Post and Beam Cabin
This Post and Beam cabin has a million dollar view! Backing onto Stump Lake this well laid out 1,300 square foot cabin has 2 bedrooms, a flex room and 3 bathrooms. This log cabin has one of the most cost effective designs we have worked with yet. The clients and their neighbors love it.
Sakinaw Lake Timber Frame
Located on the Sunshine coast near Sechelt, this Modern Timber Frame is tucked away perfectly in Mother Nature. This is a 4 bedroom 2 bath modern rancher design with overlapping low pitched roofs, exposed timber rafters and structural posts.
Looking back, one of the greatest memories from each of these projects is the people and the families that we met along the way. We are very fortunate to be invited into the homes of our clients and made part of their family as we build them their dream home. It is a huge pleasure and honor.
Thank you to all of our clients past and present and we look forward to an even better 2016!
