Josh Littler

Dustin Litler, craftsmen poses with chainsawJosh’s passion for log house construction began around 1995 when he was in high school. He started working in the log yard peeling logs, sanding ends and going out of town during the summer for re-assemblies. In 2002, Josh enrolled in the business diploma program at BCIT, graduating with honors in his final year. He returned to Artisan with a new ambition for growth and expansion. You can now find Josh either working in the office, visiting sites, touring clients around or getting covered in sawdust in the log yard.

Interesting Facts

Is the President of the B.C. Log & Timber Building Industry Association (LTBIA) and sits on the board of the International Log Builders’ Association.

In 2011, Josh had the pleasure of teaching a post and beam log building course in Estonia. Most of the communicating was done using the international language of the chainsaw!

 

 

Greatest Accomplishment

Over the past 20 years Josh has traveled to over 30 countries for work and pleasure—the most recent being a honeymoon trip to India. When they’re not at the yard Josh and his wife Laura are often chasing their young daughter around playgrounds and parks in Mission.
