Post and Beam Home on Vancouver Island

This large diameter cedar post and beam located in the rainforest on Vancouver Island takes full advantage of being perched up on a hill side.  The center of the living space has two very special flared posts going from floor to ceiling with a nice little wood burning fireplace set between.  The main floor of this house maintains a nice open feeling with 18’ vaulted ceilings down the center with huge windows taking in the view.  One side wing of the house is where you can find the master bedroom with large private ensuite, a second bedroom, office and shared bathroom at the opposite end of the house is where the entrance and kitchen are.

We reached out to Artisan when we first started thinking about building a log home. The Artisan team helped turn our dreams into reality by answering all our questions, listening carefully to our wishes and connecting us with the right professionals. It was amazing visiting their office and residences in Mission and touring the log yard before our project got underway. Artisan delivered our logs on time and exactly on budget. Watching our log home take shape was one of the most amazing experiences of our lives! Their professionalism, attention to detail, and personable nature ensure that we'd be their ambassadors, and their friends, for the years to come. Thanks to everyone on the Artisan team for helping to make our dreams come true!
